Trainee Programme

University student - this is for you! Do you want to be introduced to an industry where competence and talent are at the core of the business? The personnel services industry is a constantly developing field. It offers you many career opportunities.

As one of Finland's largest employers, StaffPoint has built a trainee programme that gives you the chance to complete the practical training periods of your studies by working for us. You'll be introduced to one of twelve different industries/businesses or support functions at the StaffPoint Group. The trainee programme is unpaid, but it's designed to meet academic standards. The programme is comprehensive and forms a strongly work-oriented part of your studies. For many, it's the first contact with white collar work.

Basic or professional training in twelve different industries and companies
During the trainee programme, you can complete basic training, professional training or both. It's also possible to write your thesis on commission.
We'll assign a place for each trainee in one of our twelve industries or in the StaffPoint Group support functions. The trainee programme teaches you a great deal about the HR processes in the industry or support function in question. Our industries are manufacturing, construction, logistics, retail, HoReCa, travel and seasonal business, ICT and customer service, software and application development (Saima Soft), contact center and outsourced back office solutions (Fuengirola, Spain). The StaffPoint Group support functions offering trainee placements are the following:

  • group ICT, Saima Soft
  • financial administration
  • customer service
  • HR and recruitment
  • our career coaching company Spring House

You can apply anytime throughout the year

Leave our application from the link below: Apply for Trainee Programme!. NB! Remember to specify your preferred period on the application form. We choose as many applicants as possible based on the trainee positions we have available for the period in question.

The programme includes an induction period, after which you'll move to your chosen field. From the beginning to the end of the programme, you'll have a mentor giving you guidance and support. The mentor is always a HR professional in the given industry. The mentor will introduce you to as wide a selection of various tasks as possible, and our staff will give you full support to ensure your trainee period proceeds smoothly.
